It's the little details that matter

I am still in cloud 9 with the recent purchase of PS1 medium in midnight. The bag is very functional, great leather, perfect size for my petite frame (I am just 5'1 in height *grin*) and it has excellent details that keep making me saying (silently and in adoration intonation) "ooooohhh", "aaahhhh", "hmmmm", "wooow" lol

I like the bag for may reasons. But I have to point out for its details of engraved hardwares with PS logo that I found it anywhere in the bags.... Not every brand applies this.
Note that I am the person who can get an instant crush towards great details on hardwares. In my simple thinking, a brand who specially designs and puts extra effort to engrave the logo on the hardwares reflects a thorough and careful design and execution. PS and YSL (or soon Saint Laurent Paris) are among the names that frequently have engraved logos on hardwares. Hence no wonder that these 2 names have been constantly in my favourite shelves.

My point in here may be considered as silly for others, but if this little things have made my admiration towards the brand growing steadily...this is something not-too-silly for me, right?

Goyard Hardy PM

I was told that the bag was originally designed as a 'dog carrier' *grin*
Hence, no wonder that there are small holes/perforated leather on sides which has special function to allow the dog getting the fresh air.

Despite its unique history, I am sold immediately when the SA took this bag out of its dustbag.
A structured tote bag with zipper in a very lightweight material. Perfect! Me likey!

Proenza Schouler PS1 Exotics

I am quite satisfied with my 2 adorable PS1 medium in regular leather (dark red and midnight).
But seeing these gorgeous PS1 in exotic skins, I can not help myself but have to make a special post on this.

The brand offers python and croco skins for those who has abundand of cash to spend.

I simply admire the bags and wish that I can touch and feel the soft exotic skin...

P.S. I love you

Slowly and gradually, I have growing adoration towards Proenza Schouler's PS1 bag.
I have one in dark red (check here), which was purchased circa 2010 (wow, it has been 2 years), and only until now that I add my PS1 collection.

Without further ado, this is Proenza Schouler PS1 Medium in Midnight that has been very busy in the past one week ;)

Recently purchased in Hong Kong, I love this bag so much, that I start thinking to get one in saddle.... Hmmm, maybe next year...

A beautiful Celine croco box bag

This box bag is beyond beautiful.

I am not a 'green person', but I adore the combination of dark green (military green?) with vintage-loook gold gardware. The leather finish is also just right, not too shiny and not matte.

I am still dreaming of becoming the owner of Celine's box bag, but the croco edition is certainly beyond my league. So, I would keep the regular leather box bag on my wish list. And I hope that by end of this year I could own one *fingers crossed*

It was love at first sight

This was a rather impulsive purchase.

I went to Goyard store in The Peninsula Arcade, Hongkong with the may objective to score a St. Louis GM.
But, I finally went back to my hotel room with something else *wink*

I had no regret for this impulsive buy as I kept praising this bag style which is very suitable for travelling and for a busy mother-of-three like me ;)

Duchess of Cambridge carries a Longchamp Le Pliage bag

It is good to see a member of royal family (future queen of Britain) toting such a common bag as Longchamp Le Pliage.

Here, Duchess of Cambridge was seen carrying the Longchamp's most famous bag while she's at Tuvalu airport during her recent South East Asia and South Pacific visit.

And she looked elegant (as always).
