Longchamp Autour de Ha Long: a Vietnamese-inspired Le Pliage
I have not paid special attention to Longchamp recently. And honestly I really had no idea on their SS 2012 collection. The website was not helpful at all in giving clues on the new season collection. It still had the last season collection on display until today.
So when I visited a local Longchamp store yesterday, I was surprised that I saw the new season collection: Le Pliage and Autour D'Ha Long series. Since I collect Longchamp Limited Edition bags, I immediately decided to take home one bag in medium short handle.
The bag is very cute as it has print-embroidery-aplique combination that makes it special. I noticed several interesting images on front side such as Vietnamese farmers wearing hats, mother and baby elephants, Vietnamese-styled boat, Vietnamese stamp, yellow orchid (this part is an aplique sewn to the nylon bag) and more flowers at the other side of the bag. Do check the photo above.
And D'Ha Long bag has another version in 'Paper' colour which is basically light beige. I also want to get one in paper, but still have to wait til it is available in the store.
Hi, in which longchamp did you find this?
