Our bags today
Today we had the regular family gathering event at my auntie's house.
I managed to snap our 3 bags that sat together while we enjoyed the lunch and chatted with cousins/aunties/uncles;)
The bags are my sister's, my mother's and mine: Longchamp Reptiligne - Louis Vuitton Pont Neuf in mandarin - Hermes K35 Etoupe
This week's random shots
Crystal
These Tulisan prints and goodies are so irresistable. So a bag and a bag charm went home with me this week ;)

Another pair of jeans at 50% off (who does not love sale season *grin*)
True Religion jeans 'Johnny' |
I wore this Ziba Label bag on Thursday-Friday when I had some errands to do.
Having captured the close-up photo of the bag, I just realized on how meticulously done/hand painted the batik is *love*
Beautiful (and yummy) sushi
And some 'leftover' macaron from Monolog
The view from my window seat on early morning flight to Singapore. The cloud from this view simply looked like cotton candy lol
Today's shallow obsession: Diamond
Diamond Tennis Bracelet 5ct (or min 0.1ct each) in 4 prong setting |
Diamond Solitaire Ring 1ct in 6 prong setting |
It is said that diamond is a girl's best friend. And I find it so true!
Silently or passively I am a diamond lover. But too bad that my other obsession has conquered me in the past 4 years that has made me a bag fetish lol
I intentionally made this post on my current (shallow) obsession as a reminder that I 'might' be on a bag ban in the next few months. I guess I can be considered as happy or satisfied with my current bag collection. They are not as many as they were before, yet now I only keep those classic bag styles, brands and colours that I like very much.
My diamond wishlist consist of tennis bracelet and 1ct solitaire ring, preferably in F-G colour, VVS and round shape. They are meant to be for my daily wear so I am aiming something classic and timeless....
Wish me luck....

Sally and Kelly
These duo are still my favourite combo for a matching bag and shoes: Hermes Kelly 35 Etoupe and Tory Burch Sally wedges in grey lizard print. They are so easy to match with most of my daily outfits. Furthermore, most of my jewelry/accessories are in silver (instead of gold). So having them in silver/paladium hardware are so great.
Check out my previous post about them in here.
Recent beauty haul
When it comes to make up or skin care products, I am pretty much a predictable person. I am just a loyal person for any things that 'touch' my skin. So it is not a surprise if I keep buying La Mer or Bobbi Brown products in the past 1 year.
I have been a 'La Mer' addict for more than 5 years. My first La mer product that I tried (and have been using it until today) was its Creme de la Mer. The cream (and other La Mer stuffs) have made my life simple as I do not need to worry about my skin. No more acnes for instance, and my skin tone got even. And I do not need to spend more money (and time) to visit dermatologist (or to have regular facial session) as I used to be.
And when I am talking about make up, then my current favourite brand in the past 1 year is Bobbi Brown. I still like MAC though, but the colour selections available at Bobbi Brown counter simply appeal me more. Further I met a great beauty advisor at Bobbi Brown that always gave me a very reasonable advices (he did not impose me to buy (almost) whole range of Bobbi Brown products and he often came up with simple and cheap tips from non-Bobbi Brown/drugstore products).
So without further ado, here are my recent beauty haul
They are cleansing gel and eye concentrate

YSL Easy bag is still my favourite bag for travelling
2 days I just returned from my trip to Singapore. My bag of the day was YSL Easy bag in blue. The bag is roomy and leather is very durable. It is just perfect for travelling. It was not the first time that I opted this bag for travelling. I have another YSL Easy in black, and I brought the black one during our family holiday to Bali around one or two years ago.
Do you notice the unique leather texture? It is called 'crest leather'. Please do not get confused as it is how YSL has named it. YSL has released different leathers for this iconic Easy bag, such as smooth, patent and crest leathers.
So, what's inside my bag during my short travelling? Well, they are still my regular bag contents though :p

Highlight of the week: Longchamp Mary Katrantzou in Lantern print
From Longchamp SS 2012 Collection, a collaboration with Mary Katrantzou has been proven to be a successful one. It is evidence as this bag was sold out everywhere including in major Longchamp's stores in Paris.
Yet my sister has helped me to find this bag in Germany during her recent trip to Europe (well, it was after an unsuccessful mission in Paris;) ). I am so excited! The size is perfect for everyday bag. Roomy and slouchy enough.
By the way, I have put this bag on my wish list since I heard about Mary Katranzou collaboration with Longchamp. See my previous post in here when I was drooling over all of Mary Katrantzou collection.
Now I can not wait for the weekend to wear the bag! I am sure that it will be a great bag to go out with the kids ;)
