Highlight of the week: Longchamp Mary Katrantzou in Lantern print

From Longchamp SS 2012 Collection, a collaboration with Mary Katrantzou has been proven to be a successful one. It is evidence as this bag was sold out everywhere including in major Longchamp's stores in Paris.

Yet my sister has helped me to find this bag in Germany during her recent trip to Europe (well, it was after an unsuccessful mission in Paris;) ). I am so excited! The size is perfect for everyday bag. Roomy and slouchy enough.

By the way, I have put this bag on my wish list since I heard about Mary Katranzou collaboration with Longchamp. See my previous post in here when I was drooling over all of Mary Katrantzou collection.


Now I can not wait for the weekend to wear the bag! I am sure that it will be a great bag to go out with the kids ;)

Celine Phantom Croc Stamp

Obviously I have a huge obsession over Celine in the past one year. The (mini) luggage, belts, trio and now Trapeze have been haunting me lol. But I am considered as 'late' in liking the phantom style. After a year of being a Celine addict, it is just recently that I am 'ready' for phantom. The reason is very simple, because I am not so keen of a hand-carried handbag. To illustrate, I finally gave up Louis Vuitton Speedy and had it sold after a year of owning it. I could not stand to hand-carry the bag all the time (especially when I had baby/toddler to carry/hold). Most of the time I wore my mini luggages over my shoulder and rarely had it hand-carried.

However after several occasions I saw some ladies toting Celine phantom (in various colours) then the bag started growing on me. It looks very 'Celine' and cool and chic and surprisingly it was not that bad in having the bag hand-carried. Further good news is that I can still wear the bag over the shoulder. Yay!

So when an opportunity for owning a phantom came (i.e. it was available for a purchase in Celine store), I did not think twice but rendered my credit card to my favourite SA lol. Then I thought I did not make a bad decision. Now I really really love the bag! It is slightly heavy if I have it hand-carried, but it is no longer an issue as it can be worn over the shoulder. And having the bag embossed/stamped in croc pattern, I am now less worried on getting the scratches from normal use. Plus, the black colour has given me a piece of mind as I can be worry-free from any colour transfer to the bag lol

I can conclude that this Phantom croc stamp has been the highlight of the month for me*happy dance*

Longchamp Jeremy Scott 'Paradise'

and my own 'Paradise'

For me, April is the month of Longchamp.

To begin with, I had several Longchamp hauls in April and I was so pleased with the release of Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir series. The Le Pliage cuir is so divine and I think this is where I will have the new obsession in the coming seasons.

But, I also got another highlight this April, as I managed to snap a Longchamp Jeremy Scott 'Paradise' travel bag. Yay! The first Jeremy Scott bag for me and this is so cute. The theme is so right to welcome our holiday season in the next 1-2 months.

And please notice that 'each letter' that forms the word of 'Paradise' has unique beach-themed design. Isn't it marvelous?

Celine Trapeze Olive

I am still beyond excited when I got my very first Celine Trapeze bag in small (medium?) size. The colour is Olive and it is from Summer 2012 collection. I have to say that the bag is very well made. Leather is so yummy. Details are great (as expected from Celine bags). Hands down to Ms Phoebe Philo!

My SA told me that starting Summer 2012, the Trapeze has undergone few small changes on its design and she gave me the opportunity to compare between my Olive Trapeze and a Trapeze from past season (the store's own stock).

Few changes that took place:

• A new back zip pocket
• Celine logo is embossed close to main zipper
• 2 inside pockets

I have not used the bag excessively but I think I should not put an iPad inside the Trapeze as it will make the bag to shag. (Note that I recently carry a LOT of stuffs inside my bag).

I plan to put the bag on a test during this weekend when I plan to go out with the kids. I hope it is the bag that is easy to handle (i.e. worry free) when I am fully occupied with 3 kids.....errr, 3 toddlers to be more precise :D

Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir Orange

A few days ago I just got myself a Le Pliage Cuir bag in cyclamen. I instantly loved the bag and the leather. I never thought that Longchamp would be able to introduce a leather bag by using soft, not-too-thick and slouchy leather as I noticed that most of Longchamp leather bags are structured bags or using thicker leather.

I opted the smallest size among the Le Pliage Cuir series and it is just perfect for my petite frame.

So after 2 days of wearing the cyclamen Le Pliage Cuir, I was still thinking about the orange one. As local Longchamp store does not carry many stocks from this line, I thought that if I really like it then I just had to grab one while they were still available. Yes, I did it!! I got myself Le Pliage Cuir in orange, in small size (with longstrap). Happy and excited I am....

While my cyclamen bag was made in France, this orange one is made in Tunisia.
