Recent findings: Webe tote bag

This tote bag has similar theme with Bottega Veneta's intrecciato napa bag (i.e. handwoven bag) but this is not made from leather. It is made from special (stretchy) polyester fabric that has been handwoven by the artisans. The handle is made from smooth calf leather.

Size-wise it is a big tote bag, which is great as a weekend bag. And the craftsmanship is excellent.

I have worn the bag for several times and I quite like it. Toys, kids' stuffs can fit into the bag. So it is also good for mommy bag.

Chic travel with YSL Chyc Cabas

YSL Chyc Cabas has been my latest excitement.

The bag is my latest purchase in the past one month (check my previous post here) and I have not regretted it. In fact I have started to think the next colour and size that I should acquire lol

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to take this bag for a travel. So, yes, it means that the bag was 'tested' to go through the scan/X-ray machine many times, to be inspected by the security officers, to be stored underneath the airplane seat and to get many 'kicks' from my feet/shoes while it was kept under the seat.

And I can say that the bag has passed all the tests with glory. I did not find any rubs/scratches on the bag due to airport/airplane handlings. What a leather! Further I also found out that this hand carry style is quite convenient for air travel as I can easily 'locate' and 'see' my stuffs whenever I open the zipper.

I am so happy and satisfied with this bag and predict that my chyc cabas will soon acquire much more air milleages

In this post I have summarized my favourite lines from Longchamp and its FW 2012 colours.
If during last season (SS 2012) I was so attracted to Le Pliage Cuir series, then things turned out differently now. The Le Plieage Cuir from current season simply does not attract me. The colours look muted and so 'winter'. I much prefer its SS 2012 bright and bold colours (those orange and cyclamen pink are so irresistable).

From this FW 2012 collection, I adore its LM series and croc-print Le Pliage.
So if I have to choose one or two, then I will opt LM in old gold (just because I have owned LM burgundy) and croc-print Le Pliage in duck blue.

I am officially obsessed over YSL Chyc Cabas. I can not stop thinking the next purchase (what size and colour) lol

I have owned one in medium size dark green Chyc Cabas (check here). And after using (and abusing) the bag for awhile, I am happy with the bag as it is beautiful, practical, has great details and exquisite leather and it is not as common as other big names (with logos).

Hence I made this post for sharing other colours from its FW 2012 collection. For sure I am dreaming for the one in pacific blue degrade lizard embossed. I have seen one in local YSL store and it looks very luxurious and gorgeous. Other than that, I am also eyeing one in peacock blue, which has a nice bright coblat blue.

Depending on the type of leather and finish, the price is ranging from USD1950 to USD2195. And I am satisfied for knowing that the bag is still 'Made in Italy' :D

It was a good breakfast

A few weeks ago my husband and I went to visit our grandma's house in Bandung. It was 2-3 hour drive from the city we live. And before we went to her house, we made a stop at an all-day-diner Hummingbird for a quick breakfast. The place offered a vast selection of breakfast menu and I finally settled for classic french toast and a cup of cappucino.

I was satisfied with my meal and felt there was small room for dessert, so I ordered a slice of cheese cake for a take away (sorry, no pic).

The trip on that day was quite smooth and successful. We had a great day throughout the journey.

Louboutin's invitation card

A few weeks ago I received an invitation from local Christian Louboutin store for attending their FW 2012 trunk show.

Please see how unique the photo on the invitation card is.

I went to the event and was hoping that I could see new colours/collection from my favourite style, Prorata 90, but I was disappointed as they only had Prorata in dark brown.
Just for the record, currently I have a wishlist for getting a (another) pair of Prorata in burgundy or black patent which will be a versatile colour.

So, if I was out of luck in local CL store, then I shall get it from CL stores in other countries LOL Let's plan for travelling!
