Inside my bag: Hermes Kelly

I recently took out my vintage Hermes Kelly as my weekend bag. This is my only vintage piece and I adore it very much. The bag is more than 20 years but it still looks very beautiful.

I hope that I can have a chance to acquire another vintage bag in a great condition. Maybe a small/medium vintage bag from Chanel would be a nice addition to my bag collection (it's in fact on my top wishlist) *fingers crossed*

Orange Accessories

The wallet is in fire opal from Bottega Veneta's FW 2011 collection and the envelope clutch is in mandarin from Balenciaga's SS 2009 collection.

Gosh... I just realize that I have had those clutch and wallet for years and I still love them now.

Reese Witherspoon and Hermes Garden Party Canvas

I understand very well that Mrs. Toth has a vast collection of handbags. I often made a post about her handbag in this blog because I simply adore her collection

In this photo she carried a Hermes Garden Party Canvas in black (and her adorable son Tennessee). Well, this black tote bag is not her only Garden Party. Previously she was seen carrying the same bag (i.e. canvas version) in natural colour. Please check here.

Hermes Garden Party has been in my wishlist in the past 3 months. I have been thinking to get one. An all leather Garden Party would be a nice addition to my handbag collection. But honestly I don't mind getting the canvas version as long as it has the colour combo that I like.

Now I just keep my fingers crossed and hope that I can own one this year *wink*

Bracelet addict

 

Among many kinds of accessory/jewelry, my favourite items are bracelet and ring. The reason is very simple, i.e. because I can 'see' it (and enjoy it) while I am wearing it. Unlike necklace and earrings, these two types of accessories can only be seen by others, instead of me.

In the past 6 months I have managed to (slowly) grow my bracelet collection. They are Valentino Va Va Voom stud bracelets, Balenciaga triple tour in beige nougatine with gold hardware, Celine leather cuff and Hermes Clic H in black with gold hardware.

The best we to wear them is to stack them on my wrist with different bracelet combination (2-3 bracelets) ;)

Here Mrs. Toth was seen arriving in Los Angeles Airport as she prepared to fly out LA. She carried Hermes Garden Party Canvas in natural colour with dark brown leather trims. See how she filled up the bag which has caused the tote bag looked a bit bulky (and heavy).

Recent Hermes haul: Clic Clac Rouge Corail

This is my recent haul from Hermes that comes in a small orange box. To be honest, it was rather an impulsive buy.

I simply love the colour tone of this rouge corail (or coral red). It is not too 'baby/bubblegum pink' and it is such a subtle colour which will be easy to match with any colours.

Kelly Double Tour Eucalyptus

At the very beginning of 2013, I managed to haul a Kelly Double Tour at Hermes local store. It is in Eucalyptus with palladium hardware (PHW). The colour of Eucalyptus is very similar to Etain which I have had one already. But I like the combo of Eucalyptus-PHW and I think it will be a great match to my diamond bracelet (in white gold) that I wear everyday. So I made a quick decision inside the store and it finally went home with me lol.

And this is the comparison of Eucalyptus and Etain. It is obvious that Eucalyptus has more brown-undertone compared to Etain.

Can't get enough of Clic H

Recently Clic H has been my favourite item from Hermes. Made from durable metal, this is a perfect companion to accessorize my wrists and to brighten up my days.

Current collection: Bleu Azure, Rouge H, White, Orange.

It is another small orange box

It is Hermes Clic H bleu azure in gold hardware.
The Azur blue is so bright and stunning in real life. It goes really well with casual jeans outfit.
I am thinking to take out my Balenciaga Work in outremer to match with this bracelet. Yay!

Recent Hermes haul

And they are coming in small orange boxes lol

Bought from Hermes Singapore stores (at Scotts Square and Orchard Road) they are Large Caleche chartreuse in paladium hardware and Clic H rouge H in gold hardware.

The Clic H rouge H has been my holy grail bracelet. So when I was presented by the SA at Orchard Road store, I simply asked him to take it to the cashier and I immediately presented my credit card to him.

It was indeed a fast and fun shopping experience.

Sally and Kelly

These duo are still my favourite combo for a matching bag and shoes: Hermes Kelly 35 Etoupe and Tory Burch Sally wedges in grey lizard print. They are so easy to match with most of my daily outfits. Furthermore, most of my jewelry/accessories are in silver (instead of gold). So having them in silver/paladium hardware are so great.

Inside my bag: Hermes Kelly 35 Etoupe

This is the bag that I have worn in the past 3 days.

The contains are pretty much the same, except that I recently exchanged my wallet into Bottega Veneta foldover wallet in blue sapphhire. The wallet is only to keep money, driving licence and an ATM card. The credit cards and ID card are kept in a card case, also from Bottega Veneta in steel colour.

And those papers that cluttered in my bag were actually e-tickets and hospital's receipts (went to see a paediatrician yesterday).
