Goyard Family

 

 

Without doubt, Goyard is one of my favourite brand, especially I love its classic St Louis style (in PM size). In general, Goyard bags are lightweight yet the material are quite durable. So that's the main reason why Goyard bags will stay in my collection for a long period of time.

Once I had a Goyard bag other than St Louis, i.e. Sac Hardy PM (check here). Yet I do not favour its boxy look therefore I decided to get a new owner for the Sac Hardy.

Now I have only 2 Goyard tote bags but I am (seriously) thinking to expand this little family... So, yellow or grey, perhaps?

Inside my bag: Goyard St Louis PM

Goyard St Louis PM is one of my favourite tote bag. It is super lightweight, (surprisingly) strong and the material is quite durable. Just perfect for mommy bag and for traveling. Last week I wore my St Louis as daily bag with very few contents, meaning that I did not carry a lot of stuffs. Just the basic necessities.

To be honest, I can never get enough of Goyard St Louis. I want to collect all colours lol. Every year, this bag is always on my wishlist but I always end up being confused for the colour to be chosen hahaha. Six months ago I was so eager to have another St Louis in red but then I ever had a red Sac Hardy (here). Nowadays I am thinking about St Louis in yellow or light blue or grey. Having 2 Goyard St Louis PM is simply not enough for me... Give me more... haha

Inside my bag: Goyard St Louis PM

I took this photo a month ago when I had this bag to accompany me for my daily activities.
This Goyard tote bag is still my favourite one. And I am seriouly thinking to expand my Goyard family very soon. The problem is, I am simply overwhelmed with the colour selection.
Grey? Blue? Yellow?

Bag of the day: Goyard and Tulisan tote bags

I was in the pilates studio on the other day, and brought 2 bags as usual. One bag is for the pilates gears/outfit and the other one is my handbag (i.e. Goyard St. Louis).

Goyard St. Louis has been my favourite daily bag in the past 2-3 months. It is very lightweight and the material is easy for maintenance. Recently I have been thinking to get another Goyard bag and I would not mind if it is another St. Louis. I simply love this tote bag.

The question now is what colour should I pick? *wink*

Goyard Marquises Tote in Grey

The grey colour was just recently introduced by Goyard in December 2012 and I really adore this grey Marquises Tote.

Officially this bag is now on my wishlist. I wished that I could go to the nearest Goyard store to see the grey tote bag in person *sigh* (which is very impossible as there is no Goyard store in my city *frown* )

Hillary Duff was carrying Goyard St. Louis GM in green and her cute son Luca.
It seems that her Goyard tote bag served as baby bag as well.

Bag of the day: Goyard Hardy PM Red

Yesterday I made a special post themed 'Inside my Goyard Hardy PM' and I actually also took some modelling pictures as part of my high excitement for the bag. So here they are.

I intentionally took out the removable base (made from hardcase) from the bottom of the bag, so that the bag could slouch comfortably to my body. Definitely I like this 'slouchy look' much better.

And on my wrist I wore double Hermes Clic H (white and orange in phw) and my loyal diamond bracelet.

Continental wallet, make up pouch, small note book, tissue pouch, pencil case, card wallet, pouch for power bank, sanitary napkin pouch, mirror and candy

My current favourite wallet. It's a birthday present from DH.

Longchamp red card wallet and a stack of discount/loyalty/membership/doctor/hospital and name cards
 All those cards can fit into the wallet and I carry them everyday.

Another (not so recent) bag acquisition in 2012, a Goyard Hardy PM that I successfully scored in Peninsula Hotel Arcade Hongkong 3 months ago.

Today I wore the bag for running some errands and here I wish to share what's inside my bag. As usual, I am not a 'bag organizer' (bag O) kind of girl. I much preferred to arrange my essentials in small pouches or wallets. The pouch must be colourful (no black please) so that I easily find it and take it out fast from the bag.

From time to time I will change the pouches depending on my mood :)

Goyard Hardy PM

I was told that the bag was originally designed as a 'dog carrier' *grin*
Hence, no wonder that there are small holes/perforated leather on sides which has special function to allow the dog getting the fresh air.

Despite its unique history, I am sold immediately when the SA took this bag out of its dustbag.
A structured tote bag with zipper in a very lightweight material. Perfect! Me likey!

It was love at first sight

This was a rather impulsive purchase.

I went to Goyard store in The Peninsula Arcade, Hongkong with the may objective to score a St. Louis GM.
But, I finally went back to my hotel room with something else *wink*

I had no regret for this impulsive buy as I kept praising this bag style which is very suitable for travelling and for a busy mother-of-three like me ;)

Coffee time with Goyard

I had these coffee times like 2-3 weeks ago, but forgot to post the photos.

One coffee session was at Antipodean Cafe with my DH and the other time was when I had breakfast alone (or brunch) before I headed to campus for giving a lecture ;)

At Botanic Garden

It was a sunny and (rather) hot day, but we opted to have a picnic lunch at Botanic Garden.
And we were not alone. As we chose to sit next to the pond, then some ducks and birds approached us. So I could not help myself but to take picture of those timid and lovely creatures.

By the way, my bag of the day was Goyard St Louis Orange. See how comfortable it was sitting on the wooden bench :)

What's inside my Goyard St Louis?

To make the bag more cheerful, I have put a cute bag charm from Tulisan. A flower shaped bag charm with a hint of orange to match the colour of the bag;)

And inside the orange St Louis I carry:

• Bottega Veneta foldover wallet in cioccolato. This style of wallet has been my favourite wallet! Good bye to zip or continental wallet.
• Longchamp card wallets. Very handy to keep those discount cards :D
