I am now on instagram

About one month ago, I just set up an instagram account and I am now officially on instagram. Yay!
In the beginning I plan to post (at least) one photo per day, simply to share shallow obsession over bag (and sometimes shoes). And I think I succeeded in making regular instagram post. All photos are taken by me.

And fyi, because I am a shy girl, I would not post a photo on instagram with my face on it *wink*

Recent beauty haul

This is another late post as those were my beauty haul around 3-4 months ago. To be honest, I almost forgot that I took some photos of my beauty haul that can be posted in the blog. Well, some items were my repeat purchases while others were new stuffs that I wanted to give a try. So far I am quite happy with those items, except the foundation stick from Bobbi Brown. I guess that its foundation texture does not really match with my skin type. I would definitely prefer Maestro fusion makeup from Giorgio Armani.

Louis Vuitton family

I used to be a Louis Vuitton addict for a long time. I remember that my first Louis Vuitton bag was purchased in 1998 while I was studying in the UK. Since then I can not be stopped in adding my LV collection that at one point of time I had a significant number of Louis Vuitton bags and small leather goods. However as I (easily) get bored with all those monogrammed bags, I gradually let go of my Louis Vuitton bags and wallets, until those shown on the photo are the remaining. So now I have zero or nil Louis Vuitton bags and I intend to keep only these few items of small leather goods.

But, maybe one day I would go back to my old habit... i.e. start collecting handbags from Louis Vuitton. Well, who knows... because I rather believe in an old proverb saying that 'old habits are hard to break' LOL

Please check here for my past Louis Vuitton collection.

Summary of 2013 bag acquisition: Longchamp

Another warning: this is another (very) late post.

Still under the same topic (i.e. Summary of bag acquisition), this time I want to feature my Longchamp bag acquisition in 2013. If someone reads my blog, the reader can easily understand that I have an obsession over Longchamp Le Pliage (in addition to those premium designer handbags). From time to time I kept buying their popular Le Pliage bags that have distinguished and lovely prints from season to season. Last year was not an exception. I hauled some Le Pliage bags throughout 2013 yet I have to admit that the numbers were not as many as I got in 2012. By the end of 2013 I just added another 6 bags from the Le Pliage series that I shown in above photo. And one thing for sure is that now I much prefer the Le Pliage bags that come with long straps. These bags are just perfect for accompanying me while I run some errands.

Please check this link for a glimpse of my Longchamp Le Pliage collection.

Summary of 2013 bag acquisition

Warning: This is another late post from me. But hey, it's better late than never, right?

Every new year, I usually prepared a summary of my bag purchase from the previous year. I succeeded doing it in the past 2 years. But this year I failed. To be honest, I have (slightly) abandoned my blog due to various reasons. But, the main reason was that I have been very busy in the past 6 months that caused a very minimum post to my blog.

And now it's July 2014 already. It's mid year and I just managed to gather the pictures of my bag purchases in 2013. I can simply summarize that I bought (much) less bags in 2013 (compared to the previous years) and I am proud of it. Because it has been my long term goal to focus on selected brands that I really really like.

So yes, Celine and Saint Laurent were still on my shopping list while other names were also my repeat purchases (Proenza Schouler, Goyard, Bottega Veneta). I also bought Fendi and Givenchy pieces for the very first time. However since last year I had a huge lust over Dior and I scored big for Dior.. Haha... I am now a proud owner of Lady Dior and Diorissimo and both bags are just beautiful and elegant. I do hope that this year I can grow my Dior family *fingers crossed*

Can I tell you a secret? Well, some of those bags featured above are actually no longer in my closet. I have let go several of them to make room for my next acquisition ;)

What's on the lounge chair

Those bags were on duty a couple of weeks ago.
I had black Lady Dior, orange Lindy and saffron Celine Trio. They are my favourite ones which are definitely worth keeping.

Vanessa Bruno Le Cabas Cuir

I got this bag a few months ago. This is actually my second Vanessa Bruno Le Cabas. I bought my first Le Cabas nearly a year ago and that one was made from canvas (it's in grey and please check here). At that time I immediately knew that I would soon get another one. This tote bag reflects my casual/practical style therefore I quite like this bag to accompany me while I run some errands (or while I am at work).

Now this red beauty is made from lambskin (hence it is called 'Le Cabas Cuir') with matching sequins. See how the supple leather texture is gorgeously exposed. It is lovely and the smell of nice leather is also divine. Perfect.

A small rendezvous at Le Quartier

I have a confession. I had this post in my draft folder for around 11-12 months. I simply forgot. Therefore, I warn you that this is a very very late post.

However I remembered that it was during a rendezvous with my friends and at that time we really liked the interior/decor of the restaurant. When we visited this place, they just opened for business! So everything was new, the place was not too crowded and food was awesome. In conclusion, we had a great time.

I carried my Chanel Biarritz that came very handy because I can keep my Canon DSLR camera inside this bag. Until now I am still in love with this bag and I think Chanel Biarritz is a keeper ;)

Recent Celine Haul

I bought these items around 3 months ago while I was in Hong Kong. The grass green Trio was love at first sight that I immediately decided to take home the green beauty.

I was assisted by a sweet SA in Celine store at One Pacific Place. She is super helpful. If I am not mistaken, her name is Annie. Thanks Annie
