In regards to dilemma #1, the case was closed

Almost 2 months ago, I was (very) seriously considering to get a Balenciaga Velo Gris Poivre in silver mini giant hardware (part of holiday collection). Yet Gris Poivre happened to have the same colour tone to Hermes' etoupe. Then it caused me to have a dilemma which I posted here (i.e. dilemma #1).

Luckily I had a chance to check (and to touch) the leather of Balenciaga Gris Poivre in real life and I honestly did not like the leather texture from holiday collection (which was also called Hamilton leather). The leather was thicker (than regular agneau leather), less veins and I felt kind of plasticy as the leather has some sort of coating.

So, I decided that this is not for me and recently I really enjoyed my Hermes K35 Etoupe. It is definitely a keeper :)
